Hi SNACC Community! We hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Today we posted a fun snack recipe on our Instagram page for fresh guacamole; the post is linked here! Avocados are a major ingredient in guacamole and we wanted to share some information about them with you all!
Avocados are versatile, delicious, and can be added to almost any meal. We can’t wait to share some more recipes that contain avocado and fun facts about avocado with you all.
You will need:
3 ripe avocados
2 large tomatoes
3 tbsp of cilantro
½ tsp of sea salt
2 garlic cloves
1 jalapeno pepper
½ a small onion
1 lime
Instructions:
Cut the avocados in halves and remove the pit and the skin
Place the avocados into a mixing bowl and mash them until it is the consistency of your liking.
Dice the tomatoes, onion and jalapeno pepper.
Mince the garlic cloves
Juice the lime
Add all ingredients to the mixing bowl and mix!
Pair with your favorite tortilla chips
