  • 2lb tilapia

  • 1 stick butter

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme

  • 1 teaspoon garlic

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. preheat oven to 450 degrees

  2. cover a sheet pan with foil.

  3. Slice lemon thinly.

  4. Remove thyme florets from the stem and minced down.

  5. Remove butter from its wrapper and cut half of the stick of butter into cubs .

  6. Place the tilapia face side up on a sheet pan.

  7. Place sliced lemon on fish.

  8. Season with garlic powder and paprika evenly among fish.

  9. add garlic , thyme and butter to fish evenly distributing it all over the fish.

  10. Place the sheet pan in the oven for 12-15 mins

  11. Remove from fish from the oven and let cool.

  12. serve with side of quinoa
